Our discussion is about the ten preventive measures one should employ and maintain if afflicted with magic or envy, in order to rid oneself of them by Allāh’s permission. A true believer always resorts and turns to Allāh (Glorified & Exalted is Allāh) in everything in his life. For certainly, Allāh is the only One from whom one can seek assistance, success, and well-being. Such a believer asks none but Allāh for all of his needs, on Whose Hand lies the control of everything.

Any human being is vulnerable to be tested with some kind of envy or magic, or whatever else from this sort of thing, whose (existence) and true effect on the human being have been confirmed by the textual evidence. It may take the form of sickness, an ailment, or any kind of other distresses. And upon the occurrence of such thing, people take different healing measures in order to gain their health back and steer clear of them.
