The Summarized Bukhari is condensed into about 1000 pages by selecting a few Ahadith from the original 9-Volume which has about 4000 pages. The text used for this Summary is based on Imam Zayn al-Din Ahmad ibn Ahmad al-Sharji al-Zubaydi (d. 893) the author of the abridged Sahih al-Bukhari [al-Tajrid al-Sarih].
